Meluha Ke Mritunjay is the Hindi rendition of the immensely popular English novel, titled the Immortals of Meluha, which is a historical fantasy novel. This novel is part of the author's Shiva Trilogy. Set in the year 1900 BC, in what is popularly known as the Indus Valley Civilization, the story revolves around the lives of the Suryavanshis, who inhabited that land back then. The book Meluha Ke Mritunjay (Immortals of Meluha Hindi) focuses on the legend of Shiva and the Hindu belief concerning Karma. The inhabitants of the Indus Valley Civilization, which is actually a place called Meluha, are under the threat of impending disaster, with their water source, the river Saraswati running dry. In addition to this, these people face threats of attacks from their neighbors, the Chandravanshis, who have teamed up with the Nagas to launch an attack on the Suryavanshis.
